TRIAC is a three terminal semiconductor device. Two has anode and one gate.
BT136 has 3 pin

  1. 1st is MT1 (Main Terminal 1)
  2. 2nd is MT2 (Main Terminal 2)
  3. 3rd is GATE.

Main Function:

Main function of TRIAC is its use for control current.
